S1/M1 Standard SSTV signal generator
TSS-1 generates Standard S1/M1 signals based
on the highly stabilized TCXO(3.5ppm,-10`60.By
feeding them to your sound board,you can
correctly adjust your SSTV software to avoid
slanted pictures.
PTT signal
You can select between the VOX type and RS232C
type PTT signals. TSS-1 automatically detects
SSTV signal from the sound board and sets
PTT ON at the VOX setting. At the RS232C
setting,TSS-1 sets the PTT ON after the RS232C
CTS or DTR signals that are controlled by
the SSTV software.
MIC interface
SSTV signal from the sound board is buffered
through a transformer and fed to the MIC.Configurable
signal interface between TX/RX and the sound
board is implemented in TSS-1 using matrix
jumper pins to be easily adaptable to most
of available transceivers.
5inchs PC/AT slot size
TSS-1 can be mounted in 5inches PC/AT slot,and
the DC power for the TSS-1 can be fed from
the standard PC/AT power connector. TSS-1
can be a stanalone unit for a note type PC.
Independent SSTV monitor
TSS-1 can automatically monitor the following
SSTV signals from the sound board and the
receiver. Received pictures are displayed
on a NTSC monitor. You can always monitor
your signal or receiving signal without slant.

Measure Slant
TSS-1 measures the degree of the slant of
your SSTV signal(S1 or M1) from the sound
board and displays it using LED. TSS-1 indicator
identifies the signal with more than 23ppm
deviation From the standard signal.
Measure Frequency Offset
TSS-1 measures the frequency offset of RX
SSTV signal caused by SSB miss tuning. This
information is displayed in the LED positions.
